Pilz PILZ-631105 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection with a resolution of 24mm, capable of detecting opaque objects. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and offers a protective height of 1200mm. This model features a slim design without a dead zone, thanks to its cascading option, and includes an emitter and receiver pair. The connection is facilitated by 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver. Classified under the Slim sub-range, it has dimensions of 1200mm in height, 15.4mm in width, and 32.6mm in depth, with a maximum cable length of 20m. The degree of protection is IP65, ensuring durability against dust and water ingress. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc. The housing is made of aluminium, with die-cast zinc alloy end caps and a PMMA front screen. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 6m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.6 W for the emitter and max 4.2 W for the receiver. It features 64 beams with a 24mm beam gap, two digital outputs (300mA) for the receiver, and response times of 13ms for cascading and 20ms. The device is suitable for storage in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
