Pilz PILZ-630804 is a safety light curtain designed for body protection with a muting option. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50 °C and has a net height of 1053 mm. This part, belonging to the Basic sub-range, features a design that includes an emitter and receiver pair, capable of detecting 315mm opaque objects across 4 beams. It connects via a 4-pin M12 connector for the emitter and a 5-pin M12 connector for the receiver. The PILZ-630804 offers a protective height of 900mm and is encased in an aluminium housing, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It requires a 24Vdc supply voltage and has a net width of 35 mm and a net depth of 41.2 mm. The sensing distance of this safety light curtain ranges from 0.5m to 50m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 880 nm. The distance between beams is set at 4 x 315mm, and it has a response time of 16ms. For outputs, it includes 2 x digital outputs (500mA) from the receiver (OSSD outputs). The resolution is specifically designed for body protection at 315mm. Additionally, it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70 °C.
