SF4C-H12 Panasonic Safety Light Curtains

Panasonic SF4C-H12 is a sensor array designed for hand-protection and intrinsically safe applications, meeting safety Category 4 / PL e / SIL3 standards. It features an external device monitoring function, ELCA function for reducing mutual interference automatically, interlock function with manual or auto reset, an override function utilizing a 12-core cable, and a fixed blanking function. The housing is made of polycarbonate, with the sensing surface being a polycarbonate alloy. This sensor has a protective height of 240 mm and comes pre-wired with a 5m 8-core 0.15mm2 heat-resistant PVC cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It offers a degree of protection of IP65. The SF4C-H12 provides two digital outputs (Selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 60-200mA) for safety outputs OSSD1+OSSD2 and one digital output (Selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA). It has a sensing distance range of 0.1m-3m (100-3000mm or 0.326-9.843ft), uses infrared light with a wavelength of 855 nm, and can detect objects as small as 25mm (0.984"). The response times are 90ms (0.09 s) for ON and 7ms (0.007 s) for OFF.
