EX-Z12B-P Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic EX-Z12B-P is a photo-electric sensor designed with a PBT housing and a polycarbonate lens. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. This sensor emits red light and can detect objects as small as 0.5mm. It features an orange LED for operation indication and a green LED for stability, with a response time of 500µs (0.0005 s). The EX-Z12B-P provides 1 x digital output (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 20mA) and operates in Dark-ON mode. It has a sensing distance of 0.2m (20cm, 200mm) and includes protection functions such as outputs short-circuit protection. This ultra-miniature photoelectric sensor is a thru-beam emitter+receiver pair with side sensing and built-in amplification. It comes pre-wired with a 2m 3-core (2-core on emitter side) 0.1mm2 cabtyre cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The cable consists of 2 cores, and the sensor has a wavelength of 650 nm with a measurement accuracy of 30µm (repeatability).
