EX-Z11B Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic EX-Z11B is a photo-electric sensor designed with a PBT housing and a polycarbonate lens, suitable for ambient air temperatures ranging from -10 to +55 °C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and utilizes red light for detection, capable of identifying objects as small as 0.3mm. This sensor features an orange LED for operation indication and a green LED for stability, with a response time of 500µs (0.0005 s). It includes 1 x digital output (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 20mA) and operates in a Dark-ON mode. The sensing distance is set at 0.05m (5cm, 50mm), and it is equipped with output short-circuit protection. The EX-Z11B is an ultra-miniature photoelectric sensor that functions as a thru-beam emitter+receiver pair with side sensing and built-in amplification. It comes pre-wired with a 2m 3-core (2-core on emitter side) 0.1mm2 cabtyre cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The cable consists of 2 cores, and the sensor operates at a wavelength of 650 nm, with a measurement accuracy of 20µm (repeatability).
