EX-Z11A Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic EX-Z11A is a photo-electric sensor designed with a PBT housing and a polycarbonate lens, suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -10 to +55 °C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and utilizes red light for detection, capable of identifying objects as small as 0.3mm. This sensor features an orange LED for operation indication and a green LED for stability, with a rapid response time of 500µs / 0.0005 s. It includes 1 x digital output (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 20mA) and operates in Light-ON mode. The EX-Z11A has a sensing distance of 0.05m and is equipped with output short-circuit protection. It is described as an ultra-miniature photoelectric sensor that functions as a thru-beam emitter+receiver pair with side sensing and built-in amplification. The connection is facilitated by a pre-wired 2m 3-core (2-core on emitter side) 0.1mm2 cabtyre cable with bare end flying leads. The cable consists of 2 cores and the sensor operates with a wavelength of 650 nm, offering a measurement accuracy with 20µm repeatability.
