AB7963-F Description
Anybus by HMS Networks AB7963-F is a gateway within the X-gateway series designed to function as a protocol translator. This part facilitates vertical or flat installation and features galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. It allows for I/O configuration via a USB port using Anybus Configuration Manager software. The design incorporates a CANopen slave and CC-Link IE Field slave, equipped with 8 configuration switches, 2 node address switches (x10 / x1), and 1 baud rate switch. It also includes 10 LED indicators for fieldbus/sub-network/device status. The supply voltage requirement is 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc. Dimensions are H127mm x W44mm x D114mm, and it is constructed from aluminium and plastic housing. Connection types include 2 x RJ45 CC-Link IE Field connectors, 1 x 9-pin D-sub male connector for CANopen, 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power (X3), and 1 x USB connector (X4). It offers an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. The communication protocols supported are CANopen and CC-Link. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +65 °C, with a current consumption of 400mA (max) and 200mA (typical) at 24Vdc. Storage temperature range is -40 to +85 °C. Speed capabilities are 1Gbit/s for CC-Link IE Field and 10kbit/s to 1Mbit/s for CANopen slave. It is designed to operate in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
