AB7505-F Description
Anybus by HMS Networks AB7505-F is a gateway belonging to the X-gateway series designed to function as a protocol translator. This gateway facilitates vertical or flat installation and features galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. It allows for I/O configuration via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. The design incorporates a Modbus TCP server and a PROFINET-IRT device, including an Ethernet dual-port cut-through switch, 8 IP configuration switches, and 10 LED indicators for fieldbus, sub-network, and device status monitoring. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. The housing is made from aluminium and plastic, ensuring durability and resilience. Connection options include 2 RJ45 connectors for 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet (full duplex, fixed), 2 RJ45 connectors for 10/100Mbit/s Modbus TCP (full/half duplex), a 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power (X3), and a USB connector (X4). It offers a degree of protection rated at IP20 NEMA 1 and is designed for DIN rail mounting. The AB7505-F supports Modbus TCP and PROFINET communication protocols, operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +65 °C, and consumes a maximum of 400mA current at 24Vdc (200mA typical). It is designed for storage in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85 °C and can operate in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing). The speed for both PROFINET and Modbus is 10/100Mbit/s.
