Anybus by HMS Networks AB7308-B is a gateway within the X-gateway series designed as a protocol translator between CANopen and Modbus TCP networks. It features a USB configuration port, though a USB to CAN cable is not included. The device is equipped with on-board configuration switches for setting the CANopen node address and baud rate, which ranges from 20kbit/s to 1Mbit/s. It operates as a CANopen master and a Modbus TCP server, including 3 configuration switches specifically for CANopen located on the side, and 6 LED indicators for monitoring fieldbus, sub-network, and device status. The AB7308-B requires a supply voltage of 21.6-26.4Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has dimensions of H120mm x W27mm x D75mm. Connection interfaces include 2 RJ45 connectors for 10/100Mbit/s Modbus TCP (supporting both full and half duplex), 1 9-pin D-sub male connector for CANopen, 1 2-poles plug-in connector for power, and 1 USB connector for sub-network configuration.
