About the product
Anybus by HMS Networks AB7010-B is a gateway designed for serial communication, belonging to the Serial Communicators sub-range. It functions as a serial communicator/gateway with a configurable RS-232/422/485 interface, supporting produce/consume and query/response ASCII protocols. Capable of handling up to 31 stations with RS485/422, it offers a baud rate range of 1.2-57.6kbit/s. The device supports various Modbus commands, including reading and writing coils, registers, and more, alongside DF1 services such as integrity checks and diagnostics. It features reverse voltage protection, short circuit protection, and galvanic isolation on the sub-network, with an MTTF of over 550,000 hours. Designed for industrial environments, it has immunity to electrostatic discharge, electromagnetic RF fields, fast transients, surge protection, and RF conducted interference, with specific emission levels. The AB7010-B includes 13 configuration switches, 6 LED indicators, and operates on a supply voltage of 21.6-26.4Vdc. It has a plastic housing made of ABS/PC, measures H120mm x W27mm x D75mm, and offers various connection types including 9-pin D-sub and RJ11 connectors. With an IP20 and NEMA 1 degree of protection, it is suitable for DIN rail mounting and operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55 °C. The device consumes a maximum of 300mA at 24Vdc and is designed for operation in environments with up to 95% relative humidity, non-condensing.
