Banner Engineering SM2A312F W/30 is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor within the SM2A312 series, featuring a potentiometer adjustment for glass fiber. This sensor has a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) and is designed for M18 threaded mount installation. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -20 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. The sensor has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type), utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm, and has a response time of 8ms / 0.008 s.
