Banner Engineering SLSCE30-300Q8 is a safety light curtain from the SLS series 14-30mm safety light curtains, designed for hand detection with a resolution of 30mm. This cascadable unit features an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps, ensuring durability. It is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. The protective height of the device is 300mm, housed in a yellow casing, and it operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage. Suitable for use in ambient air temperatures ranging from 0 to +55°C, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The net dimensions are 36mm in width, 372mm in height, and 46mm in depth, with a beam spacing/pitch of 30mm. It includes 2 x digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) for reliable operation. The sensing distance spans from 10cm to 18m, utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm and a response time of 11ms / 0.011 s.
