About the product

Banner Engineering SLSCE14-450Q8 is a safety light curtain from the SLS series 14-30mm safety light curtains, designed for finger detection with a resolution of 14mm. This cascadable unit features an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. It is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The protective height of the device is 450mm, housed in a yellow casing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. The device offers a degree of protection rated at IP65, with dimensions including a net width of 36mm, a net height of 522mm, and a net depth of 46mm. The light curtain has a 14mm beam spacing/pitch and provides two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) with a sensing distance ranging from 10cm to 6m. It emits infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm and has a response time of 19ms / 0.019 s.
