SLPP14-270A Description
Banner Engineering SLPP14-270A is a safety light curtain from the LP Low-Profile series designed for finger detection with a resolution of 14mm. This unit comprises an emitter and receiver pair housed in clear anodized aluminum with acrylic lens and zinc end caps. It features an integral removable disconnect (RD) for connection, and its dimensions include a protective height of 270mm, a net width of 28mm, and a net depth of 26mm. The housing is gray, and it operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage. The SLPP14-270A is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. It has a 14mm beam spacing/pitch and provides a sensing distance from 10cm up to 7m. The light curtain emits infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm. It features two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs), one digital output (24Vdc; 250mA; PNP transistor) for fault indication, one digital input (10Vdc-30Vdc; 30mA) for external device monitoring (EDM), and one digital input (10Vdc-30Vdc) for reset functions. The response time of the device is 10.5ms / 0.0105 s.
