Banner Engineering S18SP6FF50QP is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor from the S18 DC series, designed with a background suppression system. It features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The S18SP6FF50QP offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. Its shape is an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel, and it includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC). The sensing distance is 50mm, with an infrared (IR) light color, a response time of 3ms / 0.003 s, and operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. The wavelength of the IR light is 880 nm, and it has an M18 thread size.
