Banner Engineering S18SN6RE is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the S18 DC series, featuring a through-beam system or opposed mode operation. This sensor comprises an emitter and receiver pair housed in a thermoplastic body with a polycarbonate lens. It is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. The S18SN6RE operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions.
