S186E W/30 Description
Banner Engineering S186E W/30 is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the S18 DC series, featuring a through-beam system in an opposed mode configuration. This sensor functions as an emitter alone, housed in a thermoplastic with a polycarbonate lens. It comes pre-wired with a 30ft (9m) cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. The S186E W/30 operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. This sensor offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape allows for straightforward installation. The sensing distance is up to 20 meters, utilizing infrared light with a wavelength of 950 nm, and it features an M18 thread size for mounting.
