QS18VP6DB Description
Banner Engineering QS18VP6DB is a photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and features a diffuse (flush front) system with potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating easy installation. Part of the QS18 series, it boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, and it can detect objects up to a distance of 450mm using infrared (IR) light. The QS18VP6DB offers both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a rapid response time of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s.
