QS18VN6LAFQ Description
Banner Engineering QS18VN6LAFQ is an adjustable-field Class 1 laser photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It features a background suppression system with screw adjustment for adjustable cutoff, ensuring targeted detection within a sensing distance of 30 to 150mm. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50°C and is housed in a thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens, making it suitable for diverse environments. It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector for easy installation. The QS18VN6LAFQ operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and offers a quick response time of 0.7ms. It provides a visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) for versatile signaling options. This sensor is part of the QS18..AF mechanically adjustable background suppression series and is rated with a degree of protection of IP67 NEMA 6, ensuring durability in challenging conditions. Its rectangular shape and operating modes of Light-ON and Dark-ON add to its flexibility in application.
