Banner Engineering PIT66UMFM6 is a fiber optic sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It operates within an ambient air temperature of up to +70°C and features a through-beam system, also known as an opposed mode pair of individual fibers, positioned side by side with right-angled sensing. The sensor has a diameter of 1.5mm at the end and a 1mm fiber core. It belongs to the Plastic fiber series and is characterized by a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip. The sensing end is made of stainless steel, while the fiber itself is encased in a plastic fiber with a Steelskin fiber sheath for added durability. The total length of the sensor is 3ft or approximately 1 meter.
