About the product
Banner Engineering PIT6100U is a fiber optic sensor designed for in-line sensing with a through-beam system or opposed mode pair of individual fibers. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and features a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip with a diameter of 1.5mm for the fiber core. The sensing end is made of brass, while the fiber itself is plastic, and it is protected by a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath. The total length of the fiber is 15ft (5m), facilitating versatile installation options.
