Banner Engineering PIT46UMFM6 is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode pair of individual fibers for in-line sensing. This sensor operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. It is part of the Plastic fiber series, characterized by a 1mm fiber core diameter. The sensor has a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip made of stainless steel, while the fiber is encased in a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath, ensuring durability and protection. The total length of the fiber is 6ft / 2m, accommodating various installation requirements.
