Banner Engineering PIT433U is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode pair of individual fibers for in-line sensing. This sensor operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. It belongs to the Plastic fiber series and is characterized by a 1mm fiber core diameter. The PIT433U has a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip shape, with the sensing end made of stainless steel and the fiber sheathed in a durable Steelskin material. The total length of the sensor is 3ft / 1m, making it suitable for various industrial applications where precise detection and measurement are required.
