Banner Engineering PIT415U is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode pair of individual fibers for in-line sensing, particularly suitable for high-temperature environments with an ambient air temperature for operation up to +105°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series, characterized by a 1mm fiber core diameter and a 15ft (5m) length. It has a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip made from stainless steel, while the fiber itself is encased in a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath, ensuring durability and compatibility with various industrial environments.
