MAHR58A Banner Measurement Sensors

Banner Engineering MAHR58A, part of the MINI-ARRAY series, is a high-resolution measuring light screen array edge/profile sensor designed for precise detection and profiling tasks. This sensor features a 1463mm array length housed in a durable aluminum casing, suitable for various industrial applications. It operates with a 2.5mm beam spacing/pitch, ensuring detailed detection capabilities. The MAHR58A is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, facilitating straightforward integration into existing systems. It requires a 12Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +50°C. With an IP65, NEMA 4, and NEMA 13 rating, this sensor is protected against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for challenging environments. It offers a sensing distance range from 38cm to 1.8m and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor; 30Vdc max.; 150mA max.) for connectivity. The MAHR58A's resolution stands at 2.5mm, capable of detecting objects as small as 2.5mm, ensuring precise and accurate sensing performance.
