Banner Engineering MAHE38A, part of the MINI-ARRAY series, is a high-resolution measuring light screen array sensor designed for precise detection tasks. This sensor features a 384mm array length and operates with a 2.5mm beam spacing/pitch, ensuring accurate sensing capabilities. It is housed in a rectangular, aluminium casing, making it durable for various applications. The MAHE38A is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy integration into existing systems. It requires a 12Vdc supply voltage and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +50°C. With an IP65, NEMA 4, and NEMA 13 rating, this sensor is protected against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for challenging environments. It offers a sensing distance range from 38cm to 1.8m and can detect objects as small as 2.5mm, thanks to its 2.5mm resolution.
