Wago 753-404 is an I/O unit designed as a pluggable Up/Down counter slice module. It operates with a supply voltage of 5Vdc provided by the system and an adjustable supply voltage of 20.4-28.8Vdc for field sensing devices. This unit features push-in spring cage-clamp connections and does not require an AC supply voltage. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +55°C and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +85°C. The 753-404 supports a control voltage for DC and offers short-circuit protection for AC. It communicates via an IP20 protocol and has a rated insulation voltage of 12mm. The unit's dimensions are H100mm x W12mm x D69.8mm, and it is housed in a polycarbonate (PC) / Polyamide (PA) 6.6 casing. It features a 100kHz switching frequency, a digital input for the counter, and two digital outputs (24Vdc / 500mA) with output voltage ranges of -3 to +5Vdc (OFF) and 15-30Vdc (ON). The power dissipation includes vibration resistance according to EN 60068-2-6 at 4g and shock resistance according to EN 60068-2-27 at 15g. It has a resistance of 70mA (5Vdc system supply) and can operate in up to 95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
