RI-10S10S0-2B1000-10MIL Description

Turck RI-10S10S0-2B1000-10MIL is a compact incremental rotary encoder designed for 2.5" motor flange mounting. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and features a solid shaft motor flange with optical sensing. This encoder is pre-equipped with a radial 10-pin MS MIL-Spec male connector for connectivity. Part of the Type RI-10 series, it has a 2" casing diameter, a 10mm shaft diameter, and a 20mm shaft length. It offers IP67 protection and requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with a nominal range of 12Vdc to 24Vdc. The encoder supports a 300kHz pulse frequency and is constructed with a die-cast metal housing, stainless steel shaft, disc table, and packing ring. It includes one digital output (push-pull; 10Vdc-30Vdc) and features protection against short-circuit, bearing lock, magnetic fields, and reverse polarity. Capable of a maximum rotational speed of 6000rpm, it has a moment of inertia of 1.8 x 10^-6kg.m^2 and offers a resolution of 1000 pulses per revolution. The current consumption is 50mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
