Turck BC5-Q08-AP6X2-1-PSG3M/S250 is a capacitive proximity sensor belonging to the BC...-Q08 series, featuring a Qpak housing top-sensing embeddable design. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is constructed with a die-cast Zinc alloy housing and a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. It comes pre-wired with a 1m / 3ft pigtail cable that terminates with a 3-pin M8 Picofast threaded coupler nut male connector. This sensor has an 8mm thick rectangular body and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. It features 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP) with a sensing distance of 5mm. The sensor includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, and operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
