Telemecanique Sensors XUVJ0312 is a photo-electric sensor within the XU sub-range, featuring a photo-electric optical fork with a through-beam/thru-beam system and an integrated amplifier. It is constructed from PC / ABS for the case, PMMA for the lens, and PvR for the cable. This sensor offers a pre-cabled connection type and is protected to a degree of IP54. The net width of the passageway is 30 mm, and it comes with a 2-meter cable. It operates with a digital NPN transistor output and has a sampling rate of 1000 Hz. The supply voltage required is 24 V DC, with a current consumption of 20mA / 0.02 A. The light color emitted is infrared (IR), and it includes protection functions against reverse polarity, overload, and short-circuit. The operating temperature range is from -5°C to 55°C, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
