Product description
Pilz PILZ-773705 is a communications unit designed for expansion and communication purposes, featuring a DeviceNet fieldbus interface suitable for peripheral device types with a station address range of 0-63d. It is engineered for DIN rail mounting, specifically on a 35mmx7.5mm horizontal rail, and operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C. The unit has a net height of 94 mm and is designed to connect to a base unit via a 5-pin plug-in connector. As part of the Communication module sub-range, it measures 27mm in width, offers an IP20 degree of protection, and requires a 24Vdc external supply for DeviceNet and a 4.9-5.1Vdc (5Vdc nom.) module supply via the base unit. Constructed with a PPO bottom housing and an ABS front housing, it has a rated voltage of 500Vac for DeviceNet testing, a net width of 22.5 mm, and supports the DeviceNet communication protocol. The power consumption is 1 W from the supply via the base unit for DeviceNet and 0.75 W for the module, with a net depth of 122 mm. It is designed for storage in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C and features galvanic isolation protection functions. The rated insulation voltage (Ui) is 30 V, and it supports transmission rates of 125kBit/s, 250kBit/s, and 500kBit/s on DeviceNet, with a time delay of 20ms for supply interruption before de-energization.
