Pilz PILZ-632384 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This receiver part of the robust type light curtain operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1050mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver connections and falls under the PSEN opII4F sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The PILZ-632384 has a net height of 1054mm, a width of 35mm, and a depth of 40mm. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850nm. The light curtain can accommodate a maximum cable length of 50m and features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. It has a response time of 13.6ms with beam coding and 91.4ms, with a resolution specifically designed for finger protection at 14mm. The device is also designed to withstand storage temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
