Pilz PILZ-632380 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This receiver part of the robust type operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1650mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver connections, falling under the PSEN opII4H sub-range. With dimensions of 1654mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, it is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. The device operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and can accommodate a maximum cable length of 50m. It has a sensing distance ranging from 0.2m to 18m and utilizes infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 11.6ms with beam coding and 22.3ms without. The device is designed to operate within a storage temperature range of -25 to +70°C.
