PILZ-632371 Pilz Safety Light Curtains

Pilz PILZ-632371 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This robust type receiver part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 150mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII4F sub-range. With dimensions of 229mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, it is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. The device operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and supports a maximum cable length of 50m. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing an infrared LED light source with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is maxed at 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with response times of 5.9ms with beam coding and 11.7ms. The device is designed for storage in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
