Pilz PILZ-632362 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This receiver part of the system operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 600mm. It features a robust design with an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. The connection is facilitated through 5-pin M12 connectors for both emitter and receiver parts. As part of the PSEN opII4H sub-range, it has a net height of 604mm, a width of 35mm, and a depth of 40mm. The device operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It can sense objects within a distance of 0.2m to 18m and uses infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The safety light curtain is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It supports a maximum cable length of 50m and has two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. The response time varies between 7.2ms with beam coding and 15.2ms, with a resolution specifically designed for hand protection at 30mm.
