Pilz PILZ-632351 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This robust type receiver part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60 °C and offers a protective height of 150mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII4H sub-range. With dimensions specifying a net height of 229 mm, a width of 35 mm, and a depth of 40 mm, it is constructed from an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. The device operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has a maximum cable length of 50m. It offers a sensing distance from 0.2m to 18m with infrared LED light at a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with a response time of 5.2ms with beam coding and 11.7ms otherwise. The degree of protection is rated at IP65, and it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70 °C.
