PILZ-632348 Pilz Safety Light Curtains

Pilz PILZ-632348 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This robust type receiver part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1650mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver connections, falling under the PSEN opII3F sub-range. With dimensions of 1654mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, it is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. The device operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and supports a maximum cable length of 50m. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is maxed at 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. Additionally, it features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 18.7ms with beam coding and 91.4ms. The device is also designed to withstand storage temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
