Pilz PILZ-632346 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This receiver part of the robust type light curtain operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1200mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver connections, falling under the PSEN opII3F sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has a maximum cable length of 50m. The net dimensions are 1204mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. It offers a sensing distance from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. The device also includes 2 x digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with a response time of 14.8ms with beam coding and 91.4ms. It is designed to be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
