Pilz PILZ-632344 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This receiver part of the robust type light curtain operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 900mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver connections, falling under the PSEN opII3F sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The PILZ-632344 has a net height of 904mm, a width of 35mm, and a depth of 40mm, with a maximum cable length of 50m. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The light curtain also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 12.3ms with beam coding and 42.3ms. It is designed for storage in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
