Pilz PILZ-632328 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This robust type receiver part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1500mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII3H sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. Dimensions include a net height of 1504mm, width of 35mm, and depth of 40mm. It supports a sensing distance from 0.2m to 18m with an infrared LED light source at a wavelength of 850 nm. The safety light curtain operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It is designed to withstand storage temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C. Additionally, it features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and offers a response time of 11ms with beam coding and 22.3ms without, all within an IP65 degree of protection.
