Pilz PILZ-632324 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This robust type receiver part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1200mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII3H sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. Dimensions include a net height of 1204mm, width of 35mm, and depth of 40mm. It supports a sensing distance from 0.2m to 18m with an infrared LED light source at a wavelength of 850 nm. The safety light curtain operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It is designed to accommodate a maximum cable length of 50m and offers two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. With an IP65 degree of protection, it is suitable for various industrial environments. The response time is 9.7ms with beam coding and 22.3ms otherwise, and it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
