Pilz PILZ-632291 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This receiver part of the robust type operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 300mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver connections, falling under the PSEN opII3H sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. It supports a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and can accommodate a maximum cable length of 50m. The PILZ-632291 has a net width of 35mm, a depth of 40mm, and a height of 304mm. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is maximized at 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 5.9ms with beam coding and 11.7ms without. The device is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction, and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
