Pilz PILZ-632287 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1350mm. This robust type emitter part features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII4F sub-range. With dimensions of 1354mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, it is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. The device operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has a maximum cable length of 50m. It offers a sensing distance from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver (without load). It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 16.1ms with beam coding and 91.4ms. The device is designed for storage in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
