Pilz PILZ-632282 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This robust type emitter part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60 °C and offers a protective height of 600mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII4F sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and can accommodate a maximum cable length of 50m. The PILZ-632282 has a net width of 35mm, a depth of 40mm, and a net height of 604mm. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is maximized at 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 9.7ms with beam coding and 42.3ms otherwise. The device is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range for storage of -25 to +70 °C.
