Pilz PILZ-632280 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This robust type emitter part, part of the PSEN opII4F sub-range, operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 300mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring secure connections. The device is housed in aluminium with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, measuring 304mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The PILZ-632280 offers a sensing distance from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. It is designed with an IP65 degree of protection and can accommodate a maximum cable length of 50m. The unit also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 7.2ms with beam coding and 15.2ms otherwise. It is suitable for storage in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
