Pilz PILZ-632271 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting 14mm opaque objects. This emitter part of the robust type safety light curtain operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and has a net height of 229 mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII4F sub-range. With a protective height of 150mm and an IP65 degree of protection, it is suited for various industrial environments. The supply voltage required is 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc. Constructed with an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and PC front screen, it ensures durability. The maximum cable length is 50m, and it has a net width of 35 mm. Its sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. The net depth is 40 mm. It can operate within an ambient air temperature range for storage of -25 to +70°C. It includes 2 x digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with a response time of 5.9ms with beam coding and 11.7ms without.
