Pilz PILZ-632251 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This robust type emitter part of the PSEN opII4H sub-range operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 150mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. The device is housed in aluminium with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability, and it has dimensions of 229mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. With an IP65 degree of protection, it is suitable for challenging environments. The safety light curtain operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.) and has a maximum cable length of 50m. It offers a sensing distance of 0.2m to 18m with infrared LED light at a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max. 1.5 W for the emitter and max. 2.5 W for the receiver without load. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 5.2ms with beam coding and 11.7ms without. The device can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
