Pilz PILZ-632250 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and has a net height of 1804 mm. This robust type emitter part of the PSEN opII3F sub-range features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. With a protective height of 1800mm and an IP65 degree of protection, it is well-suited for demanding environments. The device requires a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and is constructed from an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen. It supports a maximum cable length of 50m and has a net width of 35 mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm for detection. Power consumption is maximized at 1.5 W for the emitter and 2.5 W for the receiver without load. The unit's net depth is 40 mm, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range for storage of -25 to +70°C. It features 2 x digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 20ms / 0.02 s with beam coding and 91.4ms / 0.0914 s, ensuring timely detection and response.
