Pilz PILZ-632247 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting 14mm opaque objects. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and has a net height of 1504 mm. This robust type emitter part of the PSEN opII3F sub-range features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. It offers a protective height of 1500mm and is rated with a degree of protection IP65, suitable for various industrial environments. The device operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and is constructed from an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen. It supports a maximum cable length of 50m and has a net width of 35 mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm for detection. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. The net depth is 40 mm. For storage, it can withstand ambient air temperatures from -25 to +70°C. It features 2 x digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 17.4ms / 0.0174 s with beam coding and 91.4ms / 0.0914 s. The resolution is set at 14mm for finger protection.
