Pilz PILZ-632231 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting 14mm opaque objects. This emitter part of the system operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 150mm. It features a robust design with an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. The connection is facilitated through a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver. As part of the PSEN opII3F sub-range, it boasts an IP65 degree of protection, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The device operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It supports a sensing distance from 0.2m to 8m and uses infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The light curtain's dimensions are 229mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, with a maximum cable length of 50m. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 5.9ms with beam coding and 11.7ms without. The device is designed to be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
